A Clean and Unique Process

Filtrona Porous Technologies’ medical grade foam is created from a clean, hydrophilic polyurethane process that employs a unique mix of raw materials. In addition to proprietary formulations, we produce custom formulations based on specific application requirements. Customization can include the incorporation of customer exclusive antimicrobials and other customer exclusive additives. Each formulation creates different densities and porosities, while thickness is determined by either skiving or pouring.

Our polyurethane process creates a hypoallergenic and 100% latex free foam that is perfect for skin contact applications, ranging from advanced wound care dressings to cosmetics. Based on the type of foam and the end use of the foam, converting, roll stock, and laminations are available.
