Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association (WIMA) presents Jeff Green, Division VP of Business Development at Filtrona Porous Technologies, with distinguished industry award
On May 20, 2010, Mr. Jeff Green, Divisional VP of Business Development at Filtrona Porous Technologies, received the Price-King Award for distinguished service to the writing instrument industry from the Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association (WIMA).
WIMA promotes the interest of and issues surrounding the writing instrument industry. The Association created the Price-King Award in 1990 from merging two already established awards, each named after two prominent and highly respected leaders in the industry. The Price-King Award is handed out periodically, and Jeff became the eleventh recipient.
Jeff has actively been a part of WIMA since the early 90’s and has held leadership positions with WIMA that include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Finance Committee Chair, and International Trade Committee Chair.
David H. Baker, Executive Director and General Counsel, WIMA commented, “His contributions to WIMA are too numerous to list. Suffice it to say, this gentleman helped transition WIMA from an old style trade association to a lean and mean 21st century trade association. WIMA is strong today, financially and substantively, due to his efforts.”
Russell P. Rogers, Divisional President of Filtrona Porous Technologies added, “We are extremely proud and fortunate to have Jeff and his leadership and expertise as part of our team. Jeff’s contributions to WIMA are an important part of Filtrona’s ongoing commitment to the writing instrument industry, and we are happy to see it recognized with this award.”
